Best fitting mid or long tube headers.

What brand of headers fit the best and require the least amount of clearancing, grinding, etc?

Thanks

I have MAC Mid-length headers on my '95 Z28. I'm very pleased with how they hug the underbody to keep clearance high. I've never owned long tube but my take is they hang a bit lower with some better than others.

I like my MACs. I had a problem before I put these in wth the exhaust pipe hitting the brace ( stock exhaust system). Now I have plenty of clearance there too. I also went with MAC's off road pipe and coupled it all to my stock cat-back system. I'm pleased with the sound.

That is exactly the problem I am having with the stock exhaust crossover hitting the brace, and figured if I am going to have a shop re bend the Y, might as well just get some headers with a new Y.

My Jet Hot Longtubes fit perfectly. They pretty much "fell" up into the car, as I like to put it....

Pacesetters fit great for me under the hood, but the y pipe is hitting the DS floorboard. it is annoying as hell and I m trying to solve it. Many have similar problems.

i am looking at the spohn tunnel brace. It has way more clearance and it is way stronger than the stock POS. It is $85.00, so I think that if you had custom Y-pipe made by a shop, it would be close to the same price.
