Flowmaster Super 44s? I just ordered a set today for my duals that will be going on hopefully this week if all goes well with my motor. I only found one clip of them so far on a Mustang, but hopefully they will sound good on an LT1 dumped.

Let me know what you think

I don't know anyone with them, but they sure do have a nice, deep tone.

I'll have to get a clip up after my motor is broken in. They are the smaller version of the orginal 40 series muffler, but they sound a little deeper and the case is 4x9.75 but hopefully I can squeeze them under my car

I got my mandrel bend kit today and monday or tuesday I get to go pick up my motor so hopefully by next saturday I'll be up and running again

No, they are actually called the super 44s, not super 40s. They are the newest flowmasters. I actually have them sitting in my garage, but I couldn't make them fit the way I wanted them to fit so thats where they are staying until they find a home on my dads truck. Too bad though, those would have sounded soo badass on my car

I bought the bullets first, but then changed my mind after my brother put LTs, X pipe, and flowmasters on his Cobra. Then I was doing some research and it seemed that the case of the 44s would be small enough (4" X 9.75") to make them fit, but they would have hung too low for my liking. With the bullets I have just as much room as the stock exhaust as far as ground clearence with the exception of 1 pipe that had to turn down and then back up to clear the fuel lines and torque arm. So I stuck with the bullets so I could lower my car down the road and not really have to worry about scraping on everything.

But now that my car is running, well kind of, I actually really like the sound of the bullets. Everyone that hears it just loves it and say that my car sounds like its just going to tear something apart HAHA
