Aftermarket Y-pipe with LTs?

I have some BBK headers and im looking to get some longtubes. Question is that i already have an aftermarket y pipe with my magnaflows, do i need to get another y pipe to match it with my longtubes? Also, does summit sell longtubes because they say "full length" and i dont know if they are the same thing as longtubes? thanks

full lenght are the same as long tubes.

the ypipe from shorties or mids will not fit long tubes. well, not without a considerable amoutn of fabrication on the front parts where they attach to the collectors.

think...square peg...round hole.

even alot of LT setups require a fairly specific Ypipe configuration, since they all have small variations in the collector location.

Not sure that Pacesetter actually makes a Y-pipe to go with their headers for your car. But as far as their headers alone go several people have fitment issues with them in the F-bodies so we don't even offer them on our site.

Kooks headers are going to be a bit pricier but they are much better quality, won't give fitment issues, won't leak, won't rust, etc. etc. They are also good for a little more power than Pacesetter headers are.

We have Kooks currently on sale w/free shipping and free coating when you buy the connection pipes. Call us for a better deal if you don't want the free header coating. (443) 730-9428
