A4 Headers different than M6?

A friend of mine bought a LT1/A4 combo for his old 30's Ford hot rod.

The package that he picked up came with everything needed......minus the ECM but no biggie.

He even got a set of LT1 headers from the guy - that he won't be able to use because they haven't a hope of fitting in the motors new home.

Will they fit my car?
If so, he would let me have them for a song.

**** man, I hope they do!

Yes they should, do they have emission hookups? that may not work depending on what year the headers are for.

The engine is out of a 95 Trans-Am.

I know that the exhaust changed at some point.....and I'm thinking it was 96 for the emissions - but I'm not sure now.

If there needs to be a sensor put in, could I just put a bung in and call it a day?

Yeah they will fit. As long as you get a y pipe that will bolt up you'll be fine.

I've never heard of a header made specifically for a certain transmission on a fbody, it'd have to be custom made.
