do you have headers on it?
If not, get long tube headers, then an xpipe and some good mufflers, it doesnt matter what, no matter what - a camaro will never sound like a honda
dynomax is extremely loud
check out
ls1sounds.com under the true duals, it'll give you an idea of what the different mufflers sound like

well, for my car (headers and mufflers), its going to cost me about 700, im not entirely sure how much stuff the 2nd gens will need, is it a y-pipe setup, or true duals or what?
You could just replace the stock mufflers with something else to make it louder for now

do you know what size of piping is used? I would think prolly 2.5" was used, but not sure. If you can find out, go the next size bigger or so (if 2.5 was used, go w/ 3, etc.)
I believe you can fit some full-sized mufflers under there, in which case flowmaster series 40 would make it kinda loud
or some flowtech bypass warlock mufflers (have built in cutouts) so u can be loud when u want
