So I have Pacesetter LTs, Pacesetter ORY, and 3" pipe into 3" bullet with a turn down in stock muffler location.... My question is does this exhaust seem adequate? I plan on installing my ported LE1 heads and 1.7 RRs on the stock cam. Am I over/under doing this exhaust or will it fit the bill. It certainly made a HUGE difference on a otherwise stock car. Let me know if you have ran this type setup and had success or possible issues. Thanks fellas.

 

is it more restrictive than say...3" true duals...YES

will it make a huge difference....NO

there are plenty of guys running 400+ hp with 3" catbacks...i wouldn't worry about it.

 

i think u shouldnt worry....people usually go with TD's mostly for the sound.... i kno i am

 

Well my real concern isnt is 3" enough.... it's really me wondering if putting a bullet muffler in instead of a real muffler going to make much difference when I get the rest of the parts in?

 

bullet mufflers flow better than real mufflers

 

N/M i'll just trial and error it.

 

i had a bullet on my exhaust with the cam, LTs, orp and it sounded really good.

ran it like that for a while.
