OH YES… hard to believe that we’re giving you a near full year “heads-up” on our next event!! Here are our dates… time to mark those long-range calendars, time to inform your family your will be spending the holiday with your Camaro family next year! Time to get those days off for vacation and plan on having the Camaro-time of your life!

What will our 2013 event be like? Much too early for lots of details, but we’ve already discussed doing another tour of a certain local “collection” we visited this year, but having it as a cruise/meet & greet type of activity. Perhaps another visit to MIS?

We do know that we will again be in a great location – Riverside Park, We will have great judging and many awards, We will have another great charity to collect for and help, and we’ll be having a great time with all of our Camaro friends and family!

FYI- we have received many great survey forms from this years event. If you have not sent one in, you can do it at our website (for another month only!). We’re going to compile these comments and post a page on the CSF website, addressing your concerns from the surveys. It may not be the exact answer you are looking for, sorry… but we believe that communication and answers are in yours and our best interest, for a continued great event!

Here is a brief update on our plans for CAMARO SUPERFEST 2013 !
THANK-YOU Sponsors – we have some sponsors signed on, but are always looking for more! Signed-on so far are-
Lingenfelter Performance, Ecklers-Rick’s Camaro Parts, Canton Waste Recycling, The Bicycle Doctor, Cruis’news magazine, Livernois Motorsports, National Parts Depot and Bill Crispin Chevrolet
We have 3 packages – Bronze $500, Silver $1000 and Gold $2000. If you are a Camaro related business, can you afford to not be in attendance at the best ALL Camaro event in the USA? We’ll have plenty of vendor spaces too! Please email us for more details! (barry76Lt@wowway.com) Please contact us ASAP as we want to have you as a sponsor and get your name/logo on our event flyers! (deadline = Jan 30)

Friday Activities – Friday is a special day of activities for registered participants only. This year we are pleased to have two new activities!
Just approved and we’re pleased to announce – laps at Waterford Hills Road Course and a tour of the Camaro COPO Build Center! This will be limited to the first 250 people/140 Camaros. Cost is estimated to be $15 per Camaro.
We are still working on plans for a Meet-Greet-Dinner for Friday evening.



Saturday Activities – While we’ve had success with our Poker Run the last 3 years, we’ve decided to simply do a Cruise-Dinner-Tour. How about a nice country cruise, pizza, salad, dessert and refreshments and 120+ of some of the finest automobiles you’ve ever seen? Our destination will again be the great Lingenfelter Collection. Because this will be a cruise, we can allow more people to attend! Cost is estimated to be $20 per person.

Our Theme for 2013 will highlight the Camaro Z28! We’ll have those special judging classes just for Z28 ‘s!

Our Charity for 2013 is the Lupus Foundation of America. Once again, you can support our charity by attending, participating in our silent auctions and 50-50 raffles or even an out-right donation! We are hoping to raise $5000!



We still hope to have our flyers, website and registration open in the second week of February. Stay tuned….!!

WOW… CAMARO SUPERFEST UPDATE!!!
We’ve worked very hard and all of the arrangements are complete! At least complete enough to OPEN REGISTRATION!!
Some time tomorrow night, Saturday, Feb 16th our online registration will GO LIVE and be open for you to access and register for our event. There will also be a download-able PDF form, if you prefer to mail-in with a check or money order.
We hope to see YOU and your Camaro register for one of the premier Camaro events in the USA! (remember, we give certificates to the person who is first registered from their state!! … and you get big-time bragging rights!)

We are sincerely sorry that the CAMARO SUPERFEST registration had a "glitch" in it last night. Our webmaster worked all day and we are fixed and ready to go.

REGISTRATION OPENS at 7pm tonight - Sunday, February 17th. !!!!!

A big THANKS to those who persevered with our registration!! It's a unique blessing that so many have problems, all trying to be part of our event! Thank-you for saying that you love our event!

We have done everything possible to make it as fast as possible. In fact, about mid-morning, we moved the website to a commerical server in Chicago! This is costing us, but it made everything near lightening quick! Our great web-people (Samantha and Matt) are now working on some other methods to speed things up and bring it all back to our server in Michigan. We have a EMCC club meeting tonight and I hope to hear how many registrations we did get through in a 24 hour period.
If you have not yet registered... well, you only have 5 months, so get going! LOL!

HELLO!!! Here is another UPDATE on the 22nd annual CAMARO SUPERFEST 2013!!!
As you can see from the previous posts – our registration IS open! either online, using paypal/credit card services –or- download and print off our form, fill it out and mail it in. We have received both items already and we’re just a week into our official event timing! Here’s the BIG scoop…

Online registrations went live at 7pm on Sunday, Feb 17th. Congratulations Susie and Jeff Weeks from Swartz Creek, Michigan. They were the first to register at 7:02pm and thus, also the first from Michigan! Next was Bonnie & Jim Szydlowski from Michigan at 7:10pm. We also had 6 different states and Canada register! Check out these great Camaro owners -
Jim Wilkins from Kentucky
Shane Hudson from Ohio
Chad Ennis from Indiana
David Stewart from Missouri
Bill Janicki from Minnesota
Eric Johnson from Illinois and
Marc Hall from Ontario, Canada
And all of these people were in the top 20 and within the first 5 hours of registration!! In all, we had 42 registrations in the first 24 hours!! More have come in, plus the few via regular US mail, giving us a total in one week of 52!
WOW... normally it takes us near 2 months to get to 50 registrations. THANK-YOU all for your great support!!

While we had our glitches... our great IT Team of Samantha and Matt figured it all out and got us on track asap. We were actually swamped with well over 300 applications... however, as you can see by the actual results, most of these were repeat entries as people tried to get as low a number as possible and entered many (many!) times. Our IT Team tells me that one person even emailed and apologized for sending in over 30 registrations! Another message received said that he was using a direct link (posted on facebook) and got in while shopping at Wal-Mart! Has to be a CSF first!

We’re looking to download and update the registrations each Friday. We hope that will keep you up to date fast enough and watch our registrations climb!

OH – please remember… when you register, the Friday is PER CAMARO, not per person!! Several people registered with this as per person, marking 2 needed. Those that did so, we’ll refund that extra $15 to you at the event (unless we can figure out how to do a credit refund).

HELLO from Camaro Superfest Central!!
We just keep going – Thanks to you!! Just under 150 registrations (so far…!) which is a number we don’t usually see for another month! We still have room for both, the Friday activities and Saturday night cruise/dinner. But you should register SOON!!
Other new news –
Our door prize pile has started! We’ve already received items from several companies for door prizes and goodie bag stuffers. If you own a business (ANY business) and would like to advertise by placing flyers, cards or other items in our goodie bags, please contact me soon! Of special note, we have received several gift certificates from PFAD Racing, one good for $750 and another for $500 toward one of their total suspension packages! These will be given away at the awards presentation on Sunday and everyone has a chance to win these – as your car number goes back into the jar for picking! However, you must be present to win!
With the great announcement that the Z/28 is returning, our event t-shirt and awards design has been finalized. Here is a (very rough) sample of what it will look like. Our artist is already working on this design…




The shirt color will be red!
Speaking of event shirts… we’ll have more CSF hats to sell and some Camaro sunglasses! NEW for this year, we’ll be able to take credit cards at event HQ! We might be able to do that for the Silent Auction items too. However, we would have to charge a $1-2 extra, as we want ALL monies to go to our charity.
Please remember, in 2-3 weeks you will receive (if you are pre-registered) an Acceptance Letter, which will have all of the latest and complete information for the event. It will include instructions for Friday and Saturday activities. Plus some good info and tips about our event. These will go out until pre-registration ends about a week or so before the event dates.
WOW... we only have about 8 weeks to go!! CAMARO SUPERFEST will be here soon!!

June 2, 2013 -
HELLO again and welcome to another CAMARO SUPERFEST update!
Registrations have taken another good jump - 167!! That is still ahead of last year for this time period. To those already registered - first THANKS and second - watch your email (or regular mail) for your acceptance letter. This has ALL the instructions and information you need for helping us serve you and having a great event. Please read it through and when you come to CSF, you only need a copy of the first page with your number on it for registration verification.

As you will notice in the Registration History page, we have another NEW state being represented - welcome Rhode Island!! That makes 10 states and 2 Canada Provinces! And ,we have a few more vendors registered!
REMINDER!!! - registration usually pick-up at this time, expecting 10+ per week!! Our allowances for the Friday activity and Saturday Cruise/dinner are getting full! These will NOT be available "at the door", so if you want to participate, register VERY quickly!

MORE NEWS-
** The UPS truck is making near daily visits to my house, so the goodie nag and door prizes are starting to pile-up!
** At the recent MiFbody Meet & Greet event, we had 5 different Chevrolet people sign a mountain of items for our Silent Auctions for our charity - LUPUS Foundation of America. And as mentioned, we'll be happy to accept your bids on a credit card, allowing you to bid more often and higher!! But we will have to charge a small fee to do that.
** Our event t-shirts design is starting to look great! We'll post the final version in a week or so.

WOW!! Only ONE month until our event!! We hope you are getting as excited as we are and we're looking forward to seeing you here for a great Camaro event! ONE LAST item... please keep praying for good weather!

LATEST NEWS
Hello once again!!
YES, it's only been a week since our last update, but we want to keep you up-to-date on all that our event is about!

REGISTRATION NEWS - Have you checked out the numbers? 183 registered!! That's great! Last week we had 17 new registrations! That's 2.4 per day! I hope we can keep up that rate until we close pre-registration!

PLEASE NOTE - if you have pre-registered on or before Friday, June 7th, then you should have your acceptance letter in your email in-box!! If it is not there, please check your junk-trash files. Sometimes, my email goes there. There were only 7-9 registrations that did not provide an email address. If you are one of those, your letter will be in the mail back to you tomorrow! If you have not received your acceptance letter by June 29th - please email me asap! barry76Lt@wowway.com

We have also noticed in the registration numbers, we are missing several years! 1970, 72, 73, 74, 75, (what is it with the 70's??) 83 and 90. We like to be able to say that at our event, we had at least one from every year. So here's a shout-out to all of those years to get registered, even if it's AT the show!

Lastly, pre-registration via the website will be ending on Friday, June 29!! Our mail-in deadline is still Thursday, June 20. You CAN register at the event, but the Friday and Saturday night activities will not be available at that time.

LATEST NEWS - June 16, 2013
WOW... we've done it again... probably 3-4 years in a row (or more) that we've hit over 200 pre-registered for CAMARO SUPERFEST! Our official number stands at 208!!
We're still missing those early 70's years... but we're hopeful they will register in the next 2 weeks, or simply show-up at the show!
Remember - pre-registration online and by mail ends Friday, June 28!!
Our Friday and Saturday activities are getting filled up, but there is still some room left, but sign-up NOW and if you have already registered and wish to add these to your registration - email me NOW!! (barry76Lt@wowway.com)
We've heard from Chevrolet and we will have at least 2 2014 Camaros on display at the show on Saturday. COOL!!
The goodie bag and door prize pile in my garage has grown! We've also received many great items for the Silent Auctions!! Remember... all this great stuff is for charity support - the LUPUS Foundation of America!

WOW... another update in just one day!!
Well... here's the big news... we had our monthly EMCC club meeting last night and everyone voted on a NEW dash plaque - it will be magnet style! YES, as in refrigerator magnet! This is a new trend that we are jumping on, as now your dash plaque can be on your frig, tool box, where-ever!! (and not leave a tape residue!) They will look the same, just be more "flexible" in where and how you can use it. We hope you like this new addition!
And just how will that dash plaque look... well, here is the 99.9% final artwork for our t-shirts, which is also the basis for our awards and dash plaques...



As mentioned, yes, the t-shirts will be red color!
We also have purchased a special buy for Camaro owners... SolarBat Camaro branded sun glasses! These normally retail for $49, but we have them for $25 at the show! Check out these images...





And did I mention... (thought I had...) this year at CSF, we'll be all set to accept your major credit card at event HQ for your purchases of event t-shirts, CSF hats and sun glasses. We'll also accept credit card payment for our Silent Auctions for charity (but for this, we will charge a small fee as we want ALL monies to go to the charity).
Cool stuff and we're only THREE WEEKS AWAY!!!!

And a quick shout-out to the Michigan Firebird Club for being our judges again for the 5th year in a row! THANKS guys and gals for supporting our event!!!

WOW - MORE Great news from Chevrolet concerning our COPO Build Center Tour... we got food! While it's not gourmet, what could be more appropriate than Hot Dogs with a Chevrolet (add your own baseball and apple pie)!! The Build Center Team will be serving some dogs and refreshments, and a Chevrolet Performance Camaro show car will also be on hand while we wait for each group to tour the facility. We will be broken into groups for the tour to better manage our crowd when we arrive. THUS, the previous notes in your acceptance letter about packing a lunch, are no longer necessary (unless you really want to). You can still buy from the Waterford Track concessions, or wait until we arrive at the Build Center. We can also confirm that Camaro Chief Engineer Al Oppenheiser, and one of the main guys behind the design of the 5th Gen Camaro, Tom Peters, will both be at the COPO Build Center for talks with our group.

you MUST HAVE xerox copies of your drivers license and proof of insurance in order to get on the track!! No copies - NO TRACK laps!! We're told the pit row area is quite a bit smaller then MIS... so we'll have to do some "winging it" when we arrive and in getting everyone lined up for laps. Please be patient with us, it's our first time too! Thanks!! We'll see you in a short 2 weeks!!
