blazer 4.3, Yes, Chris is talking about Charlotte, NC. Rock Hill is just South of Charlotte.

Chris, man, you couldn't have picked a worse weekend for me. Not to mention the weather forcast for this weekend for the whole Southeast. Are you sure you don't want to reschedule for the following weekend?

Not ragging on you but what is the deal with the caps?

And if it is rescheduled, I would try to be out there next weekend.

Mark, sorry can't switch unfortunatelly.. got a lot going on to get ready for autofair the following weekend!!

Mr Big Block, we are usually out the late... we have been there till anywhere from 12 - 3 talking! If you are going to show up late give me a call and i will let you know if we'll be there!! I will send you a PM later with my cell #!

Also if its been a while since anyone has been there exits 82 a and b exit at the same spot, for cherry road and tubbys just be sure to stay to the left in the exit!!

Hey, I'm sure Chris (DropTop91) would be glad to have you. My wife Linda and I are a couple of Tubby's diehards. We've only missed 2 or 3 in the last couple of years. Unfortunately, this Saturday is going to be one of those times Any other time we go you are more than welcome to come along. But be forewarned: we are the old folks, but still love HORSEPOWER!

In case you're interested in going, here's some info and directions:

Tubby's is a quaint little bar & grill in Rock Hill, SC that caters to muscle cars and street rods (the walls of the place are lined with pictures of street rods). No Ricers allowed!

We either set up a long table in the middle of the restaurant, or hang around outside at the large umbrella picnic tables depending on the weather. We just get together, hang out, maybe do a little bench racing and have a good time. Tubby's has good food too, which is reasonably priced. So if you're hungry you can get a bite to eat, but don't feel obligated to do so.

It's very easy to get to. From I-77 North-bound (from Columbia) take exit 82-B, which is Cherry Rd. There is construction going on there right now, so unless it's changed exit 82-B only goes in one direction (toward Rock Hill), so you can't go the wrong way off the exit. From I-77 South-bound I’m not positive of the exit because they’ve got a lot of construction going on there right now too, but I think it’s just exit 82 now. Either way, just look for the Cherry Rd. exit. Once on Cherry Rd. going toward Rock Hill, go through 5 or 6 traffic lights (can't remember the exact number), which is about a 1/2 mile. Tubby's is a small building with yellow neon around it on the right side of the road, directly across the road from an Advance Auto Parts store, so you can't miss it. People usually start showing up around 6:30 this time of year. Don't be shy. No one is going to jump you or anything. Just introduce yourself.

Chris can correct me if any of this is wrong. Hope you can make it!

You are right on the money, coming south it is just exit 82 now and you stay to the left off the exit for Cherry road and north there are still 2 exits i think!

FTAWS6, come on out man, we always love to have new people!!
