Tubby's is a quaint little bar & grill in Rock Hill, SC that caters to muscle cars and street rods (the walls of the place are lined with pictures of street rods). No Ricers allowed!

We either set up a long table in the middle of the restaurant, or hang around outside at the large umbrella picnic tables depending on the weather. We just get together, hang out, maybe do a little bench racing and have a good time. Tubby's has good food too, which is reasonably priced. So if you're hungry you can get a bite to eat, but don't feel obligated to do so.

It's very easy to get to. From I-77 North-bound take exit 82-B, which is Cherry Rd. Exit 82-B only goes in one direction, so you can't go the wrong way off the exit. From I-77 South-bound I’m not positive of the exit because they’ve got a lot of construction going on there right now, but I think it’s just exit 82 (maybe 81). Either way, just look for the Cherry Rd. exit. Once on Cherry Rd. going toward Rock Hill, go through 5 or 6 traffic lights (can't remember the exact number), which is about a 1/2 mile. Tubby's is a small building with yellow neon around it on the right side of the road, directly across the road from an Advance Auto Parts store, so you can't miss it. People usually start showing up around 6:30 this time of year.

Hope you can make it!

I'll do my best, but it's kind of "iffy" right now. Linda may have something planned that will run into the evening - not sure yet.

Darren P, where in Monroe do you live? I live off of Idlewild/secrest shortcut Road in Monroe.

I foret how to get to Tubby's though, is it on the exit where Outback and Hooters is?

I haven't gotten my Camaro fixed yet but am I allowed to show up in my ricer? J/K It's a toyota Scion XB but everybody screws with me and calls it a ricer

Lol Mark, you're pretty funny for an old fart.

No, I'll be in the truck, I have to have the tranny gone through before I put a $800 Vigilante in there. It should be August, but I'll say September to be safe.

Darren, you wanna meet at the gas station at Potters and 75 around 6 - 6:15?

Mr. Valk, you know I can bring a bunch of ricers with me, if you want.
