Way ahead of you. Been on my calendar for a couple of months - since the Oct. one was announced

For those who don't know:

Tubby's is in Rock Hill, SC just off of I-77. It's a quaint little bar & grill that caters to muscle cars and street rods (the walls of the place are lined with pictures of street rods). No Ricers allowed in the parking lot, although we usually get a few that drive by trying to break their rubber-band power when they do, if you get my meaning. This always gives us a few chuckles

We either set up a long table in the middle of the restaurant, or hang around outside at the large umbrella picnic tables depending on the weather. We just get together and hang out and have a good time. Tubby's has good food too, which is reasonably priced. So if you're hungry you can get a bite to eat, but don't feel obligated to do so.

It's very easy to get to. From either direction on I-77 (North or South) take exit 82-B, which is Cherry Rd. Exit 82-B only goes in one direction, so you can't go the wrong way off the exit. Once on Cherry Rd. go through 5 or 6 traffic lights (can't remember the exact number, but it doesn't matter), which is about a 1/2 mile. Tubby's is on the right side of the road directly across the road from an Advance Auto Parts store, so you can't miss it. People usually start showing up between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm this time of year.

Hope a bunch of you can make it!

Mark

I really need to drive up and make it one of these days. I've always wondered about this mysterious Tubby's you all speak of.

Umm...it would be great to meet you, but I have to be completely honest; I'm not sure it would be worth the drive from AL We usually have a pretty good time, but it's not a huge gathering or anything like that. Just a bunch of motor heads hanging out, shootin' the breeze and maybe grabbing a bite to eat if you're hungry. Nothing special ..... other than the fact that I'm usually there

Hey, it can't be any worse than what we do (which consists of hanging out @ Sonic and talking about cars and Auburn Football). Sitting around, BSing and eating is where its at

Hey Mark, I'll try to make it this time. Of course, I won't be in the Pacecar.

Hey Chris,
You know we'd like to have you be there. So what if you can't bring the Pace car? I've been there plenty of times in the Tahoe when my ride was down - no big deal. Hope you can make it

It was great seeing you at the Rock a couple of weeks ago

I came 1 time sat in a croner with the wife and kid. Ate some wings and left. It was raining like crazy that day. I was just to shy to come up and introduce myself

Hey man, it's okay to be shy. After all, you never know what kind of moron's will be sitting around our tables

You should come again and sit in the parking lot doing a burn out. That will get our attention The worst we would do is hold you down and kick the crap out of you j/k

Seriously, you should try and make it. Just look me up and introduce yourself. I'll be the old fart (51) with my wife, who is tall and has short blonde hair. My car is in my sig. Can't miss it with the gold "Trans Am GT" letters on the side. After you know us I can introduce you, so you won't have to stand there and do a cold intro of yourself.

We're a bunch of nice people for the most part and as long as you're driving that F-Body you'll fit right in As far as that goes, as long as you're NOT driving rice you'll be okay

After the way the inside of my motor looks after I tore it down yesterday it will be awhile before the Z is back up and running. I might cruise down and see you anyway one day.
