Last weekend at the GoodGuys Rod and Custom Show, at Lowes motor speedway, someone had their red 1967 Camaro stolen. There is a picture in the above link.

Again, this is not my car, I just thought I would pass it along to you guys, so you can keep your eyes open for it.

ya, i heard john boy & billy talk about it on their show monday morning---they said tht their new baby would not eat and just crys because car is gone---i have had my car stolen and recovered and she is better then ever now---I know how he feels---over 90% of vehicles stolen are located within 30 days,(fact i got from my ins. co.) but in what condition is the big thing---i heard the discription now i got a visual so i'll keep my eye out

i was down there for the good guys show that week from wed - sunday. The guy was staying in my hotel and we met. On thur. Night he broke a rocker and bent a pushrod... Me and a couple others saw him with the hood up and he asked us if we had tools. He used our tools we helped him pull the intake off the car and fix it... nice people... the kid was very interested in the car thing as he was running around pickin up tools and hanging on the car watching... Then Sunday morning i think it was we heard it had been stolen eh we was upset, we looked for it also... me and a friend didnt get back to the hotel till lil over 3am and the car was still there. was a guy in a cream colored work truck that looked outta place for some reason noticed them because they took our parkin spot we figured maybe they might have something todo with it because at 6 suffin am i think the truck was gone... who knows prolly nothing todo with it... anyways we leave concord and go home we stoped at gasstations handed out flyers to gas station and cops... we get home and my friend get a knock on the door that they think we stole the car yeah he accused us of it... geez... well the dept knew we didnt take it cause he knew us and knew we wouldnt do that plus the trailor was still hooked up and our car was still on it... the guy finially called and appoligezed for accusing us for stealing it but i still think it was messed up for him todo that after we helped so much.... owell... it was a nice car kid misses it im sure it means some thing to them a great deal w/ their dad helpin them work on it then dieing of cancer i think he said. After reading that writeup i see that he told us a different name or something.
figured id add something to the story.
whoever it was also tried to break into the guys friends car trailor also which had a 69 camaro was real nice too... so who knows why they wanted them two cars... friends cars was unlocked w/ keys in em i think...

I too heard about this on the John Boy and Billy Show. Thats beyond a low blow to do something like this. I guess I never will understand the mind of a criminal.

 

that is/was one sweet looking camero...i posted the website on 417muscle.com out of springfield, mo...just in case somebody, well you know, mite have seen it...good luck on the recovery... ....by the way, check out our site if you want, its pretty good
