It's in a little town called Creswell. It's called Outer Banks Speedway, and is located just off US Hwy 64. The track is awesome, I ran their footbrake class this past sat. and ran a new best almost every pass. You can go to raceworks.com and find out more about it.

Did you improve on your 60's to get your new bests?

I have heard good things about this track and the management so far. Might have to make a club trip out there.

 

Where is Creswell? What is it near? Since its Outerbanks Speedway, I'm assuming its somewhere East of Plymouth? 1/4 or 1/8?

 

Creswell is in between plymouth and columbia. The track is 1/8 mile and is all concrete.

slim: I did improve my 60ft at OBX. In good air I usually get 1.57-1.58, but by the end of the night I was pulling 1.54-1.55's, and Todd Tutterow went 4.061@ 179.42 mph

Do they have any plans for a 1/4 mile? 179mph in the 1/8 is moving. Seems like they would have decent shutdown for a slower 1/4 mile.
