I figured we could try this one again. Since the weather played the spoiler a few weeks ago maybe we can get some sunshine this time.

Right now the date is set for april 19th.
The location is Fuddruckers resturant in Hickory NC.
It will begin at around 7 pm unless everyone would like to move the time forward to have more daylight to see the cars, but that is up to you.

We have permission from the resturant to stay and BS in the parking lot as long as we would like with no police hassels as long as no one does any burnouts in the parking lot. Last fall we had at least 50-60 people out and everyone had a great time.

There will be people from about 10 other message boards, and will give everyone a chance to see other types of cars and their set ups.

If you have never been up to Hickory there is also a cruise strip that begins right across from the resturant.

Also the resturant manager told me that if the turnout is good along with the weather he would like to take pictures of all of the cars and have them blown up and put in the resturant.

I have also recieved word that their may be a dyno day in taylorsville which is about 30 min from Hickory the same day. Please post up if you would like to attend of need more informantion. Hope you can make it out.

yea man thatd be cool, im only like 40 min from that restauraunt, and the dyno day would be sweet. lemme know if its gonna happen

Go over to LS1.com and in the gathering section there is a thread with the same title as this one. A guy named SS Rob has all the dyno info.

 

Hairbear I think the dyno is gonna start at 1 over in taylorsville. I believe thats what Rob posted on Ls1. I hope you can make it out to the dinner. Bring all the guys that were there when I raced with ya'll too. They all seemed really cool and you would be more than welcome to show.

We also talked to some cool guys out in Gastonia tongiht with some nice F-Body's that are gonna try and make the trip. Looks like the turnout is gonna be really nice as of now, and I hope everyone can make it out.

 

If you are coming down I 40 take exit 125, I know I have posted before that its exit 127, but its 125 and HWY 70.

Don't have an exact address. But if coming from charlotte take 85 south to exit 17 which is the 321 exit. Take a left off the ramp for 321 north. Take 321 north for about 30 min and then take exit 44a in Hickory. Which is also the hwy 70 exit. Take a right at the top of the ramp which will be 70 east. Stay on 70 east for about 3-4 min and Fuddruckers will be on your right. Not too hard to find. Hwy 70 is the main road in Hickory. Once you get on it the rest is very easy.

It starts at 7 and make sure you park in the resturant parking lot. Also for everyone that is coming please if you come eat at the resturant. They are nice enough to let us stay and BS in their parking lot afterwards w/o any trouble from the cops.

 

looks like its a little cloudy and rainy down that way... is the meeting still on? I'm coming from Sparta and I'm meeting up with a bunch of people from Mt. Airy and we're all heading down that way. Just wondering if its still gonna happen.

 

Yeah its still on. The weather is a little cooler than expected but no rain now. We will be there at 7.
