Maybe moving to Atlanta

What areas should I be looking at? I'll probably rent a house, then buy something. I'll be working downtown but I dont want to live in the city. I want to have like a 40min - 60min commute. Something near like 30 miles away. I'd prefer south east of the city, my brother is gonna be north of Tampa so I could daytrip down there.

Whats are some decent areas? Low crime, not tons of traffic, etc. Just 'nice'

I'll have the Impala, and will definatly be getting a motorcycle soon too.

I'll probably be flying down by the end of May to check the place out. Any ideas, and help would be appreciated

Try looking around McDonough. It is southeast of Atlanta off of I75. It is a nice area and is growing rapidly. As for traffic, well pretty much there is no such thing as not much traffic anywhere around Atlanta.

I live in Marietta. Its just north of Atlanta about 12 miles. You'll need to do this. Go to your job wait till 4-6pm then try and drive home. Some intersection are very prone to have wrecks some are a weekly event. I think 400 is in a perfect line with the sun it blinds people and slows traffic real bad.

Most guys that I work with live 40-60 min away to save money on a house. They are spending 10 hours per week in the car commuting. Were as I spend 2.5 hours per week.

I live in Roswell and drive to Marietta to work. Takes me 1/2 hour to go all the way down 400 to 285 and across to Marietta. It's possibly the quickest route for the farthest distance there is in metro, lol. Kindof a mystery...

Anyway, I'd recommend Roswell or Marietta depending on which side of Atlanta you were working in.

What a sh*thole.

Why not 92 to Sandy Plains? Same time, less distance.
