How bout an SS? I'm just south of you in Statesville. I'm not planning a trip to the track until I get my rear end fixed.

My Camaro isn't a Z but I go to Mt. Airy on occasion. I've only been a couple of times this year however. My tags say B1G R1CH, they're VA tags so if you happen to see me around give me a holler.

Zach - I believe I saw your ride the last time I was down there. I made a circle through Mt. Airy at the end of August on my way back from Greensboro. There was a nice sounding black LT1 Z at the stop light revvin when I circled at Wal Mart. It may have been you I was heading back home so I didn't really have much time to hang out. It'd be cool to meet up with some of the locals some time or another.

 

IROC-Z and SS on this end. I hang around Mt. Airy when I ain't working.

I remember that B1G R1CH (Red 350TPI) up in Galax when I used to cruize up there. You should remember my tail lights on my IROC quite well. You sure seen them plenty .

 

I'm not sure if I remember your IROC or not. I used to hang out in Galax but its been 3 summers since I'd even been up there during the night time Mines a MysticTeal 4th Gen. I never raced when I was up there... didn't want to get too embarassed in my 3.4

I know of a couple guys in Carroll Co with sweet F-bodies. Have you ran in to an LS1 T/A with an aftermarket WS6 hood? Its pewter with ghost flames and C5 rims. I went to high school with the guy, he's got quite a few mods on that ride.

 

I'm 99% sure it was your IROC I used to mess with up in Galax. But like you said, its been a while back. I been hanging around Galax since about '97, when I had a Dodge Dakota. Seems like people quit hanging around town since they popped up that Sharky's. Ever since, been down in Mt. Airy or up in Jefferson.

Ya need to bring that IROC out more often. I rarely see nice 3rd gens around anywhere. We need a few more out-and-about.

 

Nice iroc's never seen one in these parts, haha j/k chris. What ever happened to the guy that started the thread? I was lookin foward to seein a supercharged car runnin round. Oh by the way chris how my tail lights look?

 

I'm still around, I went to the track this past week, I didn't take my car I just went to do some homework!

 

I live down in Charlotte. Just got my 98 Trans Am.

 

It couldn't have been me I've never owned a 3rd Gen... just the 2 4th Gen's that I currently have Wonder if someone in this area has tags similar to mine? Hrmmmmm I haven't ran in to em yet.

Looks like we'll only have a few more weeks of decent weather before it turns too cold to cruise around much. I'd like to make it down to Mt Airy at least once before winter comes around. Maybe I'll see a couple of you guys down that way.

 

Mt airy has bout died for good, there wasnt to many good nights this summer. Maby my car ran everybody off no one likes to smell oil smoke. Hickory is bout the best place to cruise anyways. Maby we can all meet up this w/e how many is goin to the hickory thing? holla
