I sold the Z28...

And bought a 2004 GTO See sig. The deal was just too good to pass up on a brand new car.

I have a lot of parts laying around now to get rid of so I can start modding on the GTO.

All parts are from a 2000 Z28 A4 and will be posted in the for sale section.
New parts:
ASCD 2.5 inch Cowl hood (prefer local or pick-up) in box/never opened
G2 non-adjust LCAs
1le Transmission mount

Used Parts (47,000 miles and good condition):
Stock torque converter
Stock 2:73 ring and pinion
“Dynomouth/Loudmouth” exhaust 3.5” old style slash tips

Wheels (All 4 must be sold at same time)
16” stock painted 10 spoke wheels - Bowtie centercap logos faded out like they all do.
Fronts have BFG All Season KDWS – 15,000 miles on them – Good treadwear left
Rear Nitto Drag Radials – 1 track day/5passes on them and street use of approx. 3,000 miles a lot of wear left on these especially for the track.

If you have any interest, please PM or e-mail me.

Hey Tim,

Congratulations! How do you like your new GTO so far compared to the Z? I guess I can stop trying to locate Rocky now Although I would like him to do a little work on my car. He seems to have "disappeared" again.

Re: I sold the Z28...

Mark - Thanks. No, I probably do not need Rocky anymore. Thanks for trying though.

A "little" slower than the Z and does not have quite the same handling (smooth surfaces not even close, rough surfaces much better with the IRS). However, as a daily driver, it is far superior as the interior and comfort is to kill for. Dead quiet too, no rattles or squeaks. With a toddler, the back seat is much better too.

If I can get rid of all the parts in my garage, I can probably get her close to where the Z was before the converter. First stop will be to see Jeff, GM held a lot back in the tuning in these cars to keep them out of vette territory.

If I was making it to the track more than once a year, I would have kept the Z. I just cannot seem to get there often enough. This makes sense from both a daily driver and power aspect plus my payments are a lot less than the Z.
