Anyone up for a dyno day on the 10th? Doesn't really matter where but I'll need to check out my A/F ratio. Anyone ever go to Turbo Tune in Greensboro?

I'm planning on being at Rockingham all day; GMMOC track day during the day and then staying for the bracket series points race that evening.

Bryan Herter, of PCMFORLESS, is suppose to be having a dyno day on the 8th of May in Raleigh. When I get more info I'll post it.

Please do man, I got some people that want to get dynoed to. Raleigh would be so much better than Charlotte.

Don't know if any of you guys are interested but I talked to Mark at Turbo Tune and he's available on April the 10th after 12 o'clock. He said he could fit 6+ cars in at the group rate of $60 for 3 pulls including wideband. This is where I do most of my dynoing. This is open to all vehicles, F-bodies, Mustangs etc. I just need to dyno again and need the group rate.

Carson, Jeff's in Durham, about 2hrs north of charlotte.

We've had a pile of customers head to Jeffs, some that had already been dyno tuned elsewhere, and even those guys were very happy with what they got for the $ invested. Many people are capable of tuning a car, however very few can do it well. Because Jeff's one of the few people who actually understands basic & hi-perf engines, he's definitely got an edge over most anyone else in the game, whether its dyno or mail order

IMO he undercharges

Durham is basically the next city to raleigh which is where I'm at (airport is named raleigh/durham airport) anyways..looks like i'll DEFINETLY go to him when im ready to get some real tuning done. I programmed out all the emissions stuff on mine today, and some other small stuff thats already made a world of difference (no SES light for the first time since i got the car haha), its hard to imagine what somebody who knew what they were doing could accomplish...Thanks for the response.

Hey..Do you think this "MILKMAN" dude could raise my speed limiter for me?? Or do you think that he doesent do those things for liability issues?? I'm interested in getting him tune my car when i get some mods, and raising the speed limiter would be a big help for me. Thanks again.

I'm sure he could, dont know that I would bother spending the $$$ until you had some other mods though, and I dont know if he'll do just that, might have to get a complete tune ($400) from him...

schpenxel,
Here's Jeff's info.

Jeff Creech, aka "Milkman" ('95 white TA)
Carolina Auto Masters
113 S. Elizabeth St.
Durham, NC 27701
Ph. 919-680-3966
email: milkman@lugnutz.com
www.carolinaautomasters.com

Jeff "found" 15 rwhp more in my car over a mail order tune!

NoSlowCamaro,
I can't speak for what Jeff will or won't do, but I don't think he'd have a problem raising your speed limit. And this is something that he wouldn't need the car for. I think all you'd have to do is pull your 'puter out and send it to him for something like that.
