If the Admins/Mods don't mind, I'd like to post up about a benefit fish/chicken fry, that a local church is having, to assist my wife's uncle. His name is harvey Taylor, and he's battling cancer. He has very limited insurance, and has racked up some substantial medical bills. I know a lot of people on here are near the Charlotte area, and I know that everyone on here eats. If it's ok, I'll also post a copy of this in the Regional Section.

Would you like to help a family in need, in the process? If so, please keep reading:

WHAT: Benefit Fish / Chicken Fry
(Your choice of filet of flounder, or chicken breast strips)

WHEN: Saturday, March 15, 2008; 4:00 – 8:00 PM

WHERE: Chapman Memorial Baptist Church, 608 Valleydale Rd.

WHY : All proceeds will benefit Harvey & Debra Taylor, to assist in payment of medical expenses, due to cancer.

COST: $8 per plate. Dine-in/Carry-out/Drive-thru
