Sounds good, hope to see you there. A friend of mine has a 96 Cobra that he just bought and I talked him into taking it and I think his brother is going to bring his 93 S/Ced Cobra as well. See you guys there.

Nick and Jamie neither one can get the day off work to be at the drag strip in time, since we live like 2 hours away. I'm sure I can round someone else up though.

Checked fuel pressure, stays solidly above 42-43 psi all the way to redline. So there goes that theory of my hesitation.

Come Hell or high water, I'll be there though. Even if I can't race my car.

Well, with the car still missing like crazy, the best I could pull off was a 14.4 @ 97 with a crappy 2.3 60 ft. I couldn't even finish my first run, had to let off because it was running so bad. There were a couple other LT1's that couldn't break outta the 15's though, so I don't feel too bad. Just wish I could figure out why mine was missfiring so badly. I've changed about every part in the ignition aside from the opti, so I guess that'll have to be the next investment.

I was there, I sold my '94 so I was in the Denali. We didn't get there till around probably 8:15 or so. I wasn't sure which one was you since there were a few LT1's there. There were way too many ricers over there last night! There were also quite a few motorcycles there which there usually aren't. None of my buds could make it so I got one of my friends and his girlfriend to go with me. I just sat back and drank some beer and watched.

Were you there when that white, LS1 SS Camaro attempted a 5k rpm clutch drop on ET streets? I was in the staging lanes as it happened, but the guy that went with me said it pretty much destroyed his rear end.

And was it ever HOT! My scanmaster was showing 156* underhood temperatures.

As for selling your car, I know how you feel. I'm about fed up with the LT1 engine in general. As much money as I spent on diagnosis and repair parts, I could've sold the car and bought a nice LS1. And now that I think about it, I may just do that.
