Anyone recommend a SFC installer in the Charlotte area??

Before I have to borrow a welder and do it myself, anyone know a good place that'll do it for a decent price?

Thanks all.

Yeah, ol' Mikey at More will "HOOK YOU UP" alright....and laugh all the way to the bank!! Talk to any local shop near you that does welding....even a muffler shop....you don't have to be a rocket-scientist to install SFCs.....of course, you don't have to be a rocket-scientist to learn the hard way that More is all name and no real reputable background, either....

while Mike and the guys at More mau have treated YOU right, Jim, I feel safe in saying that there are equal numbers of satisfied versus UNsatisfied customers who have gone there.
And, while you are correct in stating that a good performance shop wouldn't bash another, MY shop is not a GENERAL performance shop-it is a chassis engineering and design business. Thanks for playing, though!! Tell him what he won, Bob!!!

G22Lvr, not to flame, I'm just curious. Why don't you install SFCs at your shop? It is chassis related.

My primary focus right now is design and fabrication of off-road chassis, i.e.:dirt stock cars.....however, it is in the immediate plans to begin installing SFC's and other F-Body chassis-related items. That should be in the start-up stages sometime right after the beginning of the year. Acquiring sufficient shop space is the biggest holdback right now. I'm also working with a buddy who is an engineer at Robert Yates to offer my own style of SFC. So, the plans are there.....and I'm not really bashing Mike or More Peformance, they just don't have the time/manpower to devote to each individual car/customer like a LOT of other people, including myself, feel they should for the labor they charge. Hope this clarifies a little......
