I took this Thursday off for my birthday and figured I would go to Kinston or New Bern. Anybody going either place?

 

Well I went to Kinston and had a good time although it was hot as Hades. Maybe see some of you guys next time.

 

What do you drive? I go to both tracks. I live in Vanceboro.

 

I live in Vanceboro too actually, just from New Bern. I drive a blue 91 RS. You may see it with chrome wheels or the stock ones which are on it now. The sig has pictures.

I kinda thought so after I had already posted but wasn't sure. Had enough rain yet? Maybe one day the tracks will be open.

 

When does Kinston do TNT? Is it still on saturday? Also where is the New Bern dragstrip? I know it's an 1/8th mile but I'd still have no problem racing there. I can't wait to see what my car will do with this new 357. Hope to see y'all around soon.

Kinston is on Thursday nights. New Bern is on Thursday nights. New Bern also has a domestic vs import thing on Friday nights. I saw a CRX outrun a C5 there. It sucked because the CRX ran a 9.0 @ 77. Which means the guy driving the Corvette ran slower. I think he was paid off That Vette was sick or something.

Anyway, I am not sure about exact directions but I can get there. It is in Bridgeton actually. It is between Vanceboro and New Bern off of highway 17. One day if you want to go, we can meet up and drive there.

If it ever stops raining (not that we don't need it) maybe we can get togetter and go to one of the tracks. Maybe RSS can just meet us in Vanceboro if he wants to go to Bridgeton.

That sucks for you guys. Thursday is my only day off. I have class on M,T,W, and F but nothing to do on Thursday. I was thinking about going racing today but it is just too hot. I put on a power steering cooler a few weeks ago. Last night I installed dual 12" electric radiator fans in place of my old dual 10"s so it runs a little cooler now. I really can not wait to race. We definetly need to get up and go together sometime soon.
