What area exactly? The Southeast area covers a lot of territory.

Sorry, i am at Ft.Rucker Alabama near Enterprise and Dothan but willing to drive. The Chevy dealership said $450 can anyone beat that?

Can't help you out in that area. If you were around Charlotte or Raleigh, NC I could steer you in the right direction. The reputable shops I deal with are in those areas and they charge ~$500 to install long tubes on an LT1 F-body, so $450 isn't out of line IMO.

I'll do them in Atlanta for $250, but you'll be driving out with open headers..

That might work, if I can find an exhoust guy local to weld up the y-pipe.

Rainbow Muffler would probably do it cheap, and they do a good job. They are ~10 miles away.

Check out the message board at www.bhamfbody.com and see if anyone can help. Back in the old days I'd be more than willing to do my best to help but I'm so slammed at work that it wouldn't be fair to you to try to do a project that big.

I have their number.. could do it whenever before august 15th or so. They can custom make ypipes, or they will weld on a ypipe.. If they weld it on, I'm pretty sure they'll charge less than $100, because I had them make me one custom for $150 a earlier this year.
