Any new setups for the race season?

I was just curious who was doing what. I've been through my engine this winter and am about to go insane because I want to race so bad. Hopefully I can run in the 7.20's 1/8 and 11.5-11.4 1/4 this year N/A. Let me know what some of you have done and what you think you'll run. Later

I should be in the mid 10's this year with my winter project done.

...Wait a minute... Crap, I was only dreaming! Still have the same old slow-boat motor

Wow Mark you had me scared for a second with the thought of a 10 sec ride. I went to Bob's this past weekend to get the car, but we had all kinds of problems. After about five hours of Bob and me troubleshooting we thought we had everything squared away so we took the car over to FMS park to make a few runs. well to make a long story short it ran like ****. We got it back to Bob's shop and decided that the opti was going south, so I've got one on the way and hopefully it will run considerablly better this time. Talk at you later Mark.

Yeah, those Opti's are a major PITA! Just replaced mine (again) last year. Only put a few hundred miles on it since, so it should be good to go for a while.

Still haven't heard for sure about Rockingham on April 10th. Steve hasn't replied to Matt Sharpe yet. I'll let you know when something is definate!

hey dude, i plan on runnin up there a lot this year, i was gonna try to run the points series but i missed the carolina coalition races cause i had to drive to NJ to pick this 95 z28 up last saturday

EFI cars are pretty neat, i just ordered a laptop last night and i'm gonna order the obd II cable and datamaster software sometime next week, that'll eliminate the need for half the gauges i had to run in the '81

I was wondering what was up with your car man. I was there and saw one of your runs. Car sounded like it was not running to well. As far as new setups I think you and Bob saw me down at the Camaro vs. Mustang shootout back last year in Darlington. Back then I was running a 355 with a P1SC and alitte shot of gas. This year I went with Lloyd Elliot heads and nice size cam and a big ol Direct Port of gas. Also switched to a TH350 and a 383 stroker.

Same Ol' Same Ol';

Might replace stock TB and port intake a little later on in the year; After that; Better fuel system and another stage probably...

Gonna need a rear before too long and then I'll probably add a transbrake to try and keep up w/ JK... NOT!!

Lots of new toys for me this season. Including free weekends that I did not have last year.

Now I just to get some practice.

I have a new car and thus have moved to slowest guy on the board. I'm thinking of supercharging it, but the sad thing is that I'll still be the slowest guy in the thread.

When are you guys heading out for TNT? I'd like to catch up with many of you.

Chris: Congrats on the LT1 purchase. I really think you've got a great setup there. You'll have a nice 4th gen as a daily driver, and what should be a very, very consistent bracket racer.

JK, ya I remember seeing you at darlington, you should really fly this year and speaking of the way my car ran sunday, WOW that was embarassing. Hopefully it will run much better next time out.

BJ, what's up buddy? It's good to hear from you, can't wait to see you at the track.

Rich, damn man it's been along time since I've seen you, how have you been? Maybe I'll see you at fayetteville for TNT sometime, if not maybe at an event at the rock.
