i know the trany case from a vette is totaley diff from an lt1 t56 but would the gear set from a zo6 trany work in a lt1 t56???

IIRC, it's the same ratios from the M29 trans that was available in the 93 f-bodies.

Trans- gears 1st -6th
M28- 3.36/2.07/1.35/1.00/0.80/0.62 (93 f-body with 2.73 rear)
M29- 2.97/2.07/1.43/1.00/0.80/0.62 (93 f-body with 3.23 rear)
MN6- 2.66/1.78/1.30/1.00/0.74/0.50 (94+, all with 3.42 rear)

I'd love to have the 1-4 ratios of the M29 trans with the 5th and 6th ratios from the 94+..... coupled with 3.73 rear gears. That'd be the perfect combination.
