your thoughts lt1 T56 4.22's

Ok ive got an opportunity to pick up a 9" with a soft locker and 4.22's. I mostly drive the car on weekends and cruise ins, some strip duty and a couple solo2 events and some full road courses. I was planning on going with a 4.10 but this ones already got 4.22's, do you think itll be to low? Its in a LS1 t56 car now and does well on the street but I thought the final drive gear on LT1 T56's was lower than the LS1 T56's?? thanks for the help!

Aside from 93 f-body 6 speeds, the gears are the same between lt1 and ls1 t56s

Ive got a 93 but I think its just the first gears that were different. Ill be taking the car for a spin before I buy it so I guess ill just have to see how I like it. Anyone else running 4.22's on the street?

In that case you final gear is a .62, and your cruising rpms at 70 are 2400 assuming stock diameter tires and 4.22s

Heres a great gear calculator www.f-body.org/gears/
