WTF. Is this true?

"All LT1 F-cars with automatic transmissions also have a transmission oil cooler as standard equipment. The transmission cooler is an oil to water type mounted inside the RH radiator tank."

Read that from some site. I have a ****ing transmission cooler on my '95 Z28 A4?

Yes it is true. Look on the right tank, that is where the trans lines go in. It helps, but not as much as a aftermarket one will help.

On a side note, I have often wondered if you could make the factory trans cooler work for a oil cooler. Now that I have a M6, it is still there but not being used. Wonder if I could run the oil thru the old Auto trans cooler holes and route it back.

Some LT1s came with a built in oil cooler.
