WTF No TSB for '97 Driveshaft!

I took my car to the shop on extended warranty hoping to get a new balanced driveshaft. They told me that the TSB for the steel DS's only goes to '96. And yet they still put the POS steel shafts on the '97's.
Anybody have any more info on this? Please, warranty is up shortly.

Ive got a 96... Its not under warrenty currently.
As far as the TSB goes is that only apply on cars with warrenty? or otherwise?

Thanks

Yup its only free if the car is still covered by warranty. Which apparantly doesn't mean sh*t if its a 97! And when I start to argue that it still vibrates above 80 mph I get told "Well that's abnormal driving anyway."
