Wont shift 2->3
My friends camaro -95, wont shift out of 2'd gear. He tried a WOT run and after a while it shifted to 4'th gear.
The tranny is newly rebuild and according to the mechanic it is a electrical problem. Any ideas? His speedo is jumping sometimes when at idle, so maybe the VSS is broke?
I have read about the "Sounds like the dreaded OBDI problem to be too. I have seen a thread for a working fix. It requires tunercat or LT1 edit. It's PCM related." any more info about this?
Havent checked the car personally yet............
