will a tranny from a 94 work in my 97?

will a tranny from a 94 work in my 97?

Will it work? I have a 97 obdII, and i know those are obdI, so will it work?

Yes, But You will either have to rig up your Vss or switch tailshafts with your 97 tranny

On ls1tech i posted the same thing, and had a person respond that i would have to change the wiring because its different and 94's don't have a pwm. Anyone have any other info? And i could definetly switch out the tail shaft from my 97. If vss is the only thing, then it shouldn't be too bad then

94 wont work, they didn't go to PWM until 95
