why are the LS1 clutch pedal easier to push than LT1

I've been hunting for an LS1 and couldn't believe the difference in clutch pedal feel between these cars and my old LT1. The old beast was very hard to push down-I felt like i was at the gym or something, then after trying a few LS1's I noticed its like a knife through butter. Maybe it was just my car that was hard to push, but I'm more inclined to think GM changed something to make it more comfortable.

I just had my clutch replaced in my LT1 and there's a huge difference between then and now Im thinking it was your TO bearing or something.

I've noticed the same thing between my LT1 and my buddy's LS1 clutch, his is no effort compared to mine. I like mine better because it seems as though I can "feel" the clutch better.
