who else things strange 12 bolt axel tubes are too small?

who else things strange 12 bolt axel tubes are too small?
This is the second time i've bent mine ..
first itme after i crashed the car half way down the 1/4 mile the whole rear end was banana'd .. so i had the tubes straightened and re welded (was put in a jig and done by a very respectible chasis builder)
i put it thru a few 1.9 60's (bogging) and broke the yoke (another **** off) .. so took it apart, and now the axel tubes look bent again
it honestly looks like strange buys stock axel tubes from GM and welds them to at 12 bolt centre section ... their so tiny and stock looking !!
anyway .. im just ranting
u guys think building a brace for it is a good idea ?! or just ditch the whole POS strange and go with a 9 inch or moser unit ?!
edit: rant continue: their super duty posi is also a POS .. mines alreayd broken and i get 1 tire fire and sideways launching after maybe 20 passes tops and under 3000 miles driving ..

I know several guys including myself that have and continue to hit their Strange 12-bolt rears a lot harder than you and have had no trouble at all. Perhaps the tube that you think is bent is the same one you bent in the crash? Also, funny things happen to internal parts that have been thru an impact yet appear fine at the time.
