I have a hayden 1403 and wanted a larger one, couldnt find one so i added another 1403. so now I have 22" of cooler space and dropped another 20* of tranny temp and added 3/4 quart more fluid.

I'm looking to just keep the tranny pretty cool because as of yesterday the shift firmness has been increased. A tranny cooler will solve the problems of the added heat, the shift firmness will solve the problems of sloppy shifting. Got a link to where I could look at some tranny coolers like the ones in the pic? Also, any reccomendations for a specific brand? How easy are they to install?

Thanks.

Local Autozone or Advance Auto or something will have them for around $50 bucks. I got my B&M Supercooler for $55 from Pepboys and my buddy got his Hayden from Advance Auto for $50. Less than an hour to install.

I will not be doing a Stall at this time. Thanks for the replies guys, made me more confident about this. I thought these things were around 150-200 bucks new and I thought it was a long, complicated installation. Really glad to hear otherwise.
