Where did you get your 12 bolt or 9" Rears

My 94 Formula is on it's 2nd 7.5 10 bolt, and it is about to die soon. I was wondering where everyone bought thier 12 bolt or 9" and how much you paid for them. Going rate is a touch over 2K plus shipping from what I can tell.

I bought my Strange 12 bolt from Spohn Performance. Cost me a little bit over 2500 after shipping and needing caliper backing plates.

We carry fully assembled Moser 12 bolts that already have the caliper backing plates. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding those or any other products.

Eric that is a beautiful 12 bolt. I knew the site had sponsors but couldnt find where they were listed. went to your link in your sig but didnt see Moser or drivetrain parts. Am I missing something? I definately wanted to buy from a camaroz28.com sponsor.

I got my Strange 12 bolt from Spohn also...I got in on a buy in so it wasn't too bad...I'm not a big fan of the Moser TA mounting set up with screw in bolts...I wanted the bolt thru design of the Strange...

Because of all the possible combinations we prefer to speak with customers about rear ends instead of just letting them order from the website. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

I ordered mine direct sence I can get moser stuff from where I work, some people dont know that they will narrow them for you for free when you have them made, I had mine narrowed 2 inches a side, that lets me run 15x10 wheels with a 5 inch back spacing, it gives that nice deep dish look, also you can have braces welded on to the 9 inch if you want, is it needed no but I had it put onto mine,

We got our Moser 9" rear end with Truetrak limited slip and 4:11 gears from Exotic Performance Plus and have been very happy with it so far.

I have been reading up on the Strange Rear Axles, and they seem to be better out of the box for the money. For a touch over 2K you get 33 spline axles, posi, backing plates, ready to bolt right in. The Mosers seem to be expensive for what you are getting, and not getting but they are available everywhere.

I think I have pretty much decided to go with a direct bolt in unit rather then a 9".

The plan to to build the motor to about 400HP (I am thinking a good heads cam combo can get me there, and then use a 150 dry shot. The 12 bolt should be able to handle that once or twice a month on slicks and 3.73's.

I got my Moser from LPE. Cost me around $2500. IMO, the Strange 12 bolt is better than Moser's. Both will hold up great, but Strange seems to have less issues like leaking, and fitting the torque arm easier.

The new Strange 12 bolt (S60 I think?), you can find for only about $1800-$1900 most anywhere.

I never said you could get a "Dana" for 1800. Strange's add however can be found in one of the last few magazines of GM High Tech Performance. And as stated before I believe you can pick one up for under $2,000.
