When do you need the stronger Viperized T56 transmission.

What do u think 650+ horses?

Trying to decide if i should buy one or not...
Im leaning towards no because in the next two years my car will probably not see over 580 fly wheel hp.

I've heard that they have real problems with anything over 450 RWHP.

I am putting 550 hp through a camaro T56 in my 4000 lb Caprice. I have the steel 3-4 fork though. It holds fine even on slicks and 4000 rpm launches.
