I bought a t56 the other day and that black tube/line on the pass side is like melted on one side.do i need this?were can i get the part to replace it if so!

so if i re place it with a new hose..were does it go to?

Just route the hose along side the tranny so you don't risk it falling onto the ground or it getting filled with crap. Its just for ventilation.
