i like precision gear best, out of all the gear sets i have installed these seem to like the stock pinion depth shim the most, set the backlash and the pattern's always are very nice

anything you can do to help,,, a solid pinion spacer will also help but it is still a 7.5" rear end and traction and power will some day kill it

I was going that same route good gears, girdle, new posi, axles, spacer, etc...Was told time and time again no matter what I do for my 7.5 all it would take is good traction and it would eventually be toast.

So I priced it all you can completely rebuild your 10 bolt 2 times with quality parts for about the same price as just buying a 12 bolt not including shipping, or installation.

Its a tough call I know...keep me posted on what you do, and how it works out. I am very interested to find out as it will be a while before I can afford a 12 bolt.
