what parts are interchangeable
I have a 94 Z28 with a 2002 posi and strange 3.73's in it. My friend has an 89 IROC and stock 3.08's etc.
He wants to put my carrier and gears in his housing and I want his 3.08's with my other 2 series carrier.
How much of any of this is interchangeble?

wont work, the 89 has 26 spline axles and the 94 has 28 spline so the carriers wont swap out,
and you cant just swap the ring and pinions because the 3.08 are on a 2 series carrier and your 94 3.73 are on a 3 series carrier
