What gears would be the best for a street car?

I have a 95 z28 with lt4 hot cam kit and a bunch of other mods done to it, I have 275/40zr17 tires out back. What gears would be better i was considering a 4.11 with a 12bolt rear my friend said thats too much. 3.73 or 3.90 good? And who makes a better rear, Strange or Moser?

4.11's are good in my book........even better with a converter

strange and moser are about the same......if you don't have any skills...I think the strange comes more assembled than moser. I had to put all of mine together but it was a 9"

3.73 if you drive alot and don't race much......4.10's aren't too bad on the highway, I wouldn't want them everyday tho

is it an A4 or a M6 car? if its an M6 4.10s auto 3.73, strange's 12 bolt is a little nicer IMO, it has the sway bar mounts installed right from them and it has the holes for hte torque arm drilled all the way through instead up using 4 short bolts.

my a4 has 4.10s behind it.it isnt that bad at all on the freeway.i was suprised, i think it is about 3k at 70-75 but im not 100% sure because i usualy just put around town.the gear did cause a severe traction issue so i had to upgrade my rear suspension with a adj torque arm and relocation brackets.i didnt realy notice it was any faster untill i got it to hook up w/ the suspension mods.my et was the exact same with the 3.23 and the 4.10, untill i found the traction!do you guys find the same with 3.73 and an a4?

I would do the 4.11s. As for spinning, that is nothing a good set of sticky tires can't take care of.

I have a set of bfgoodrich G-force kdws on it. They hold the ground pretty well right now.
