what differential fluid?

what differential fluid?

im getting my gears swapped. What fluid should i provide my installer with?

oil

standard 80-90 weight , do not buy synthetic new gears do not break in correctly with it. kendal, wolfs head, valvoline.

i always used gm diffy fluid and the gm anti-slip additive, cant go wrong with that i guess

I'd use Royal Purple gear oil, along with the GM additive.. They make really good products.

U can get the additive from your local GM dealer for like $8..

Redline or Royal Purple. Im using something (Brain fart) Ill get the name but it was $12 a quart for me. It works fine. I have no noises whatsoever comming from my gears. Just the Piston slap and the damn fan belt sheeesh

2 or 3 bottles of the diffy fluid (i think its 3, dont remember for sure), and 1 bottle of the limited-slip additive at your local gm dealer of course
