What is this diff part?

The small bolt in the middle that goes through the little tab in the center of this diff.

It was loose... just wondering how tight it needs to be. A small wrench is the only thing that'll get between it and the clamps - it's an 8mm if I remember correctly.

I just tighten it good and snug with a small box end wrench. I think the part in the middle that the bolt goes through is called a paddle. It keeps the axles from moving inward so the c clips won't fall off. It may have other functions too. I'm not sure. You probably already know but that is a Torsen differential.

No clutchs. It uses gears.
