I've also seen these on Ebay:

Again, I don't know how many uses them, but another one for the list. Speaking of the list, is this information going to be combined into one post, or is the information posted going to be left as is?

Sounds good. So how do you like your setup? What are you using for a pressure plate?

Never driven a stock setup. I converted from an A4. I debated on the Al vs steel flywheel and glad I did the Al. The Ram does weigh alittle more than the other Al flywheels though. Now if my car was a daily driver then I would most likely have done steel because I have a heavy traffic commute to and from work. You have to rev the engine up a few hundred rpm more than you normally would a stick so the engine doesn't bog on you. This can get to be a pain if you are in 5 mph traffic. I do love the way it revs up though and shifts through the gears. Car just "feels" crazy fast now compared to the A4. I believe the RAM Al flywheel is 18lbs and the Spec Al is 13lbs??? I would not like anything lighter than the RAM. I consider what I have a good mix and the wife can still drive it without complaining.

I am using a valeo LT4 PP. All the PP's seem to be the same now. I do not think you can buy an LT1 PP anymore. I maybe wrong though. I just haven't seen them. I bought PP at Orelleys as part of the stock replacement clutch kit they sell. I then just replaced the stock disc with a Mccleod 7500rpm disc. Saved over $100 doing this. Only difference is most companys powdercoat the PP for looks.

i want to take the car out probably 2-3 days of the week for cruising in good weather and such rarely see the track iv been debating a fidanza flywheel or stock?? is revving it up more with a lighter one gonna hurt gas mileage that much (wanting to keep it over 200 to a tank atleast)

This is what I use. It's from clutchnet.

Many well known clutch names in the industry use ClutchNet as the fabricator for their special projects and use ClutchNet's patents for some of their designs.

everyone forgot to mention the mighty McLeod Street twin.
BTW , I just got one for (gulp) 1200 bucks, and it says "Valeo" right on the purdy red painted pressure plate.

Apparently, RAM now also makes a twin disk clutch for the LT1.

I'm using one of these and the clutch disk is made by Competition Clutches, and the PP is Valeo. I just got back from the track with mine and it SLIPPED in 1st &2nd at around 4K RPM. the best I could get out of the car was 13.66 at 103.6MPH. On the advice af a local shop I did "NOT" have the flywheel turned, and I think thats what causing the slip. All I did was cleaned the FW up with brake cleaner and a brillo pad on a drill.

Well I am starting to notice some clutch slip with my new motor (see sig).
I am looking to just purchase a clutch disk and I am leaning toward the Mcleod 261871:

I can not afford the street twin, but it is not totally off the table. I am getting very mixed feelings with the Mcleod single disk. I want something that is NOT grabby and something that does not chatter bad.

Does anyone want to comment on this disk or some other alternative?

Excluding any painted finish, can you see any difference at all between these two pressure plates?

no difference at all.

i think if i scraped the powdercoating off of the spec PP it would say valeo under there; the on the McLeod one valeo is still clearly visible

EDIT:the only difference that could be noted is the TOB's are slightly different
