Exclamation Vibration at 50mph in third gear in A4

Hey guys, i have a little issue that worries me. I dont think theres is anything broke or messed up since the car has only 60k on the clock now, but when im going down the highway doing in between 50 and 60 in drive i got a slight howl and whine but after about 70 it goes away and you only hear it if i accelerate from about 55 to 65 then its gone. Im sure thats just how the rear end is because ive seen other cars do that, but the other concern is when im going in between 50 and 60 and I drop the selector into third I get some slight vibrations and slight shakes, but there barely notcieable and its more pronounced around 50 to 55 but only when I drop into third, when i go back to overdrive it goes away. Is the rear end due for a fluid change and some good quality fluid, or do I need to check and see if the u joints and the driveshaft are properly torqued on all the bolts. If anybody is ever had an issue like this please chime in. Thanks alot.. BTW- Tranny fluid is brand new with a new filter.

A howl or whine is generally the diff... As for vibrations, it might be the trans mount...

Ok. When i'm checking the trans mount, am I looking for cracks in the mount and dry rotting? Thanks
