Vibrates under moderate acceleration.

Just like the tittle says, my car recent started to have a vibration while acceleration normal to moderate rates. ITs harder to tell under harder acceleration. Feels like its coming from the back of the car, so I was suspectign gears. But its also more in 2nd and 3rd gear. I have an auto BTW. I wont feel it in first, and when I do feel it in third and I down shift it to 2nd, it gets stronger.

Feels almost like when I used to be in HS and the guy behind you is shaking his foot on your seat makign you bounce a little. I did a sear in here but only cam up with high speed vibrations, or RPM related vibrations.

Any of you have any ideas?? What does it feel when gears/ rear ends starts to go out??

Also, When I turn it kinda seems stronger, but this is not 100% yet cus I only tested that tonight. I'm gonna have my tires looked at and rotated and balaced tomorrow just in case its that.
Thx for any input.

Have you checked your "U-Joints"? You should remove the driveshaft and see that they all swivel free but ther's no play in the rotation directions.

Thx for the feed back. I will look into that as soon as possible.

I also noticed today that it seems to have gotten worse. Its doing it in all gears now,and under all accelerations. Its just very annoying. If it does happen to be drive shaft/u-joints related, do you guys recomend just replacing it with a 1LE DS?? Or I've also read about usign an LS1 DS.

If you have the money, yeah!...I had to take mine to a shop and just have new U-joints pressed in...
