Exclamation Very quick T56 swap question *Swapping it right now*

On the guide by Alex Afrashteh, I'm wondering about this step:

Remove steering knuckle and steering column. A bunch of wires need to be disconnected. There are three bolts in the frame and two big bolts that hold the column. There will be a plastic line with a metal wire in it that connects the shifter assembly to the steering column - this is the mechanism that prevents the key from being turned unless the car is in park - remove it.
Do I just unplug the plastic line with metal wire from the mechanism on the steering column or do I need to something else... I pulled it out but I'm not sure if that's the only thing I need to do on this step, perhaps disconnect the mechanism or remove all of it...

Please help

The line going up the steering column needs to come off. You wont need it anymore. I took out my steering column just to make it easier, some people were able to work around it.

Thanks for the reply! I just yanked it off from the mechanism in the steering wheel, I had to drop the column a bit but not take it off...
