yea... id go window switch if i were you, or at least thats what i plan on doing... oh wait it probably wouldnt be spraying anyways if you are using a WOT switch

i dont know let the nitrous experts give their opinion, but id still use the window switch

oh wait.. just noticed you were an a4 nevermind about that last part... experts?

I dont see why I couldnt spray through shifts? My engine is bone stock. Im starting out with a 75 shot and moving up to 125 shot so it would be like shifting with 350 crank hp and 400 crank hp. I just had my trany rebuilt and a 2200 stall converter. My trany guy runs a big block with 400 plus hp through the same tranny.

I wouldn't really advise it with anyone elses transmission, but we have a few customers doing it, and the transmissions are staying together.

Personally I wouldn't spray thru shifts, not that it isn't being done though.

I'm one of them, no problems yet.

Only one way to find out for sure.

With the a4 and depending on your gear if your window switch is set at 3000-5900 your not going to be off spray but 100ish RPM's between shifts. When you hit the next gear you will be above that 3000 mark. I dont see how the extra spray during shifts will gain that much but I could be wrong

I'd have to agree with this, and is what I'm going to do in the future. Collecting parts right now. Really, how much time is lost, or gained depending on how you look at it, if you don't spray through the shifts? Even with a built trans, why look for trouble?

I have some that spray through the shifts, but if you can use the "window switch" effectively, yes, it will be easier on the transmission.
