Upgrading my Gears

I have stock gears on a 97 Z28. I think they are 3.23 or close let me know if i am wrong.

I have a friend who sold his Z to get a GTP and is quickly upgrading it. I am getting scared of him passing me up soon and figured this is the next cheap mod i can do to my car.

What gear ratio should i go with?

Are they hard to install?

And is this a good deal if i go with 4.10?

Its really not a cheap mod. Yea u get thoes gears for 50$ then u need an instal kit 110$ Plus i take it you wont do the work your self. Lapor can be anywhere for 200$ to 500$
