so i drive a 93 z28 with an automatic trans. today i noticed a horrible noise ive never heard before. i was at a dead stop and i floored it today as hard as i could trying not to make my tires spin out. all the sudden i hear this Loud noise basically located underneath my center consol. it sounded like a little gmone hitting my frame with a huge steel pipe and making the whole damm car rattle right under my center consol. now everytime i romp on the gas peddal i hear this noise. i checked my auto-trans fluid and it was a little low but not too bad but i added some anyway hoping it would help and it didnt help at all. other than the horrible noise my car seems to drive well and seems to accelerate well too. any ideas on what this could be?

 

Might be a transmission mount "gmone".
