unblocking "blocked" accumulators?

The *******s that built the trans I am currently running advertise this:

"We block off the 1,2,3,4 accumulators to give you a solid, firm, and crisp shift. We discard the springs in the accumulator to eliminate problems associated with springs breaking".

I just bought a transgo hd2 reprogramming kit and my question is can I undo whatever it is they did in order to install this kit? If not I still have the original core, I should be able to swap the entire valve bodies assuming they are the same, correct? The only thing I am not real sure about is the 4th accumulator bore seems to be part of the case and if they drove a check ball or something in the bottom of it I may not be able to remove it cleanly. Also while on the subject of the reprogramming kit I am running a fairbanks/sonnax 2-4 servo combo, should I leave it as is or install the servo parts included in the kit with it?

I would not worry about the 4th accum myself as the TG kit has you flip the accum pver anyway so it is technically blocked since it just fills with fluid even if its also blocked mechanically

THE Forward accum should be left alone. the 2/4 servo set up acording to whatever servo set up your usings instructions. I would put a metal piston in the forward servo if not present however

So don't put the transgo kits 2/4 servo parts in then, leave it as is. I like that because now I don't have to drop the trans down to put the kit in.
