Is this true?

The 3000 Stall is back up for sale. Buyer backed out...

Converter has less than 5k miles on it. Originally built by Larry's Automotive in Texas to hold "700hp". I donno if that is true, but I was running around 450hp with nitrous and it held up just fine...

power breaks to about 2200rpms with DR's...

i emailed and asked, why its a 3k stall if it doesnt power break that high heres what was replied

The reason is because stall converters are rated with a trans brake. With a transmission brake, this converter will stall up to around 3k rpms. However, the brakes on our cars are not nearly strong enough to hold back the torque of the engine. Therefore the tires start to break loose at about 2200...

You will never power brake any tq converter up to the advertised stall rating with your brakes. With a trans brake you can though...

would i be better off buying a new tci 3k stall or some people say its a 3.2k stall?aslo i heard its not a 10" like the other t/c, does this matter any if its a rebuilt one from a shop?

actually.......it depends on the power output getting to the convertor. if i remember correctly: it may be rated at 3k, but with a lower tq engine it will stall lower. with a higher tq engine it will stall higher.

No prob wild will. He may7 have bought the convertor for his car as a 3000 stall and does not make enough power to stall it that high. Does he have an original receipt or anything?

No clue. It probably depends on your cash flow.
