I was wondering if anyone knew any tricks on figuring out the spline on the pinion for ford 9" rear ends, other then taking off the yoke, i know it's either 28, 31, or 35. It is a moser ford 9" rear end with 31 spline axles and a detriot locker.

 

the 35 is only on a pro gear I think
your probly going to have to take it off
